I used to spend quiet some time trying to find suitable icons, hopefully free to use. And I only just realized Visual Studio comes with a Image Library. For Visual Studio 2010, it can be found in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\VS2010ImageLibrary\1033". With regards to license, it seems covered by Visual Studio license already.
