I have been using Visual SourceSafe for most of the time (very out of dated, I know). Recently I had a quick look at Subversion. Although I haven't read deeply, a free Subversion add-in AnkhSVN for Visual Studio happen to very handy and I started to use Subversion straight away. I don't feel much difference comparing SourceSafe. Thanks for AnkhSVN team.
